How I repositioned Jangada’s landing page, protected the brand from fraud, and boosted conversion rates by 60% through strategic design and user-focused experience.

Discovery and problem-solving

I started by analyzing user behavior on the landing page using Unbounce. Even with qualified traffic, conversions were low.

During this process, we uncovered a critical issue: the page had been cloned and was being used in scams, damaging the brand and putting users at risk.

Strategic alignment

I worked closely with the marketing team to align improvements with ongoing campaigns. We realized the page needed not only a better experience but also stronger credibility.

Experience redesign

I restructured the content layout and visual hierarchy for a clearer, more intuitive navigation. Key information was prioritized, making the user journey more fluid.

Visual and trust enhancements

Created a unique authenticity badge to visually distinguish the original page from fraudulent copies;

Adjusted the background colors of the hero section, increasing contrast and making the CTAs stand out more clearly, as they were previously too faded;

Added the official “Reclame Aqui” (Tomplain here) Trust badge, which requires a secure code issued to the company. It cannot be duplicated on cloned pages.

After implementing the changes, the original page regained user trust and outperformed its previous metrics — with a 60% increase in conversion rate

A strong mix of clarity, trust signals, and experience design turned a security crisis into a high-impact success.

The impact of this project was so meaningful that I was invited by the leadership team to give an internal talk about the case, sharing insights with other design squads.

In the presentation, I covered how to identify conversion blockers, apply structural and visual improvements based on user behavior, and strengthen trust through better digital experiences.

I based the talk on key principles from “The Landing Page Sessions” by conversion expert Oli Gardner, applying concepts like visual attention, message match, credibility, and clarity.

The session not only highlighted the importance of strategic design but also inspired other teams to start their own optimization initiatives.
